Where the project stands
The official project page says preliminary design began in February 2026. It describes environmental review and design work for the collection system and a local treatment facility, following a revised project description adopted in June 2026.
A planning horizon, not a parcel promise
The page anticipates design completion in 2027 and service beginning in 2030, with later expansion dependent on funding. These are project forecasts, not a guarantee of timing, cost, capacity, or a connection at a particular address.
How to use the map
Use the official map to begin a conversation with the project team. Ask whether the parcel is within a proposed area, whether any phase has been confirmed for it, and what costs or conditions remain unresolved. Keep the dated response in your property file.
If you want to buy or build now
Request existing septic records and evaluate the wastewater arrangement required for your current plans. Do not remove a necessary septic budget merely because sewer appears on a future map. Ask the permitting agency and qualified professionals what your actual proposal needs, and compare options using documented costs.
